The Reading Hour - let's read together

Good news for libraries getting ready to promote reading events over the coming six weeks… The Reading Hour has downloadable posters, logos and web banners available for use here. We can use them to show a united national approach as we highlight the value of reading. The events I’m working on are more focused on adult readers, but when adults read they’re showing their kids that reading is valued. Showing support for this national initiative is especially important after the budget cuts to our national reading program. Australian public libraries need national and state-wide programs and everyone’s contribution to them.

Use these images in your eNews, in libraries, in communications to Councillors, in community events.

Enjoy your reading!
