reading matters, so let's make public library reader services awesome!

happy new year 2014!

Happy new year and best wishes for a creative, nourishing and generous 2014. I’ve renamed and moved my blog to here. I wanted to change the name from ‘bookables‘ because books are an important-but not the only part of the reader services experience.

In 2014 I will be exploring reading maps for geocaching, getting to part 2 of Making It in Libraries Today (digging into arts incubation in maker culture) and  collaborating with others in NZ/Oz in an exploration of creative/social and prescriptive bibliotherapy.

My words for 2014 might just be ‘exploring’ and ‘community’.

word for 2014: exploringword for 2014: community

I would love to hear what you will be doing with reading and readers in 2014
